To learn more about Virginia cities, towns, counties (and their functions), this site provides a nice summary (while slightly outdated from 2009, much of it is applicable). To find out more specific other various cities and counties in Virginia, this list is from the official Virginia.gov website. The Code of Virginia § 44-113 covers appropriations of counties, cities, and towns. You may also wish to take a look at the cities and their respective parent counties.

To learn about the types of matters we handle, or to learn about Virginia laws and cases related to some of the kinds of cases we handle, view our Virginia criminal defense practice areas page.

Note: we do not list every type of case we may take. We are willing to talk to you regardless of the type of offense you have been accused of.

Some Virginia defense attorneys only handle traffic and misdemeanor cases; other firms specialize and focus on criminal appeals. While we are not a general practice firm (meaning we do not handle all legal matters), if you have a non-criminal matter and would like to know if we are willing to talk to you, send us a message or give us a call. If we cannot help you, we will gladly point you in the direction of a trusted law firm near you. Remember: all of our initial consultations are free, and we impose no strict time limitation.

  1. Fairfax Apartments says

If some one needs experts i always advise him/her to visit this
local firm’s blog, Keep up the good job.

  2. I think it is really helpful that your criminal law firm offers services in so many areas of this state. I am sure that it really helps those that have gotten in trouble with the law and need representation. It is good to know that you take cases other than the ones that you have listed on your other article, just so long as the lawyer feels they are able to do it. This would be really good for my cousin to know, because he has a case that he needs help with, but he thinks that it would be too complicated and that a lawyer wouldn’t want to help him. I will be sure to tell him that it definitely wouldn’t hurt to get a consultation!
